Why You Should Go To the Jurassic Quest Drive-Thru Event

You may have heard of Jurassic Quest from the first time it was in your town. Now, back by popular demand, Jurassic Quest is returning to select cities! We had the opportunity to attend this drive-thru attraction in January at the Del Mar Fairgrounds and loved the whole thing! Here is why you should consider attending this time:

It is Educational

Not only do you get to see the fun attractions, but there you are able to connect to an audio tour for the family to hear. It directs you when to start and stop the audio, so you don’t have to worry if vehicles are going slower, or if you want to go slower. The audio discusses each dinosaur and information, so you are able to leave with your child spewing off random dinosaur facts.

The Dinosaurs Move!

The dinosaurs range in size and move, so you aren’t looking at stand-still sculptures. They even have a surprise in the audio, where a T-Rex is missing from the attraction. You can either scare your kids or turn it into a hunt, your choice, no judging.

It is Priced Per Vehicle, Not Per Person

Load up the family! This isn’t like Disney, where you have to pay a month’s pay to get in – you pay one price – $49. You can also add-on quest packs. We went for a socially-distanced birthday celebration, so added on the Tracker pack, which had dino surprises and activities for only $25 more. The add-on packs range from $15 to $50.

Who Doesn’t Love Dinosaurs?

It will keep the whole family smiling! Plus, there is a drive-up gift booth after, as well as carnival-like food booths before, so you can come hungry and leave full and happy! Also, they DO have restrooms at the end of the adventure at the Del Mar Fairgrounds.

It’s a Full Socially-Distanced Activity

Since you are in your car the whole time, this makes for a fun socially-distanced activity for the family. It is only open for a limited time, so check your local location to see the dates and times. Be sure to book in advance and don’t forget to have fun!
