Travel Foodie Mom had the opportunity to attend a media day to test out the food and check out the environment, and we had an amazing time!
Organ Stop Pizza isn’t your everyday pizza joint…it’s so much more! When you pull up in the parking lot, it looks like an ordinary building, however, it’s not until you step in the doors to experience the beauty and ambiance of music and fine decor.
As a background, “Organ Stop’s Mighty Wurlitzer is one of the largest and finest theater organs in the world today. Its nearly 6000 pipes, numerous percussions, and countless traps are masterfully presented by The Musical Staff who are world class musicians”, according to their website.
First, we tried a variety of appetizers, which definitely got the attention of the kids. It was nice to see them eat their food, although they had wandering, exploring eyes. Next, came the music. The organist rose from the floor, and the music began. He played tunes from Beauty and the Beast, Star Wars, Titanic, and more. The kids danced and had a great time!
After that we enjoyed different pizza that they offer. They have specialty pizzas, pastas, appetizers, sandwiches, salad bar, desserts, a variety of soft drinks, beer, and wine on their menu.
Last came the hand dipped ice cream. They had a variety of flavors, however, the one that stood out was Superman. Now, being from Michigan, Superman is a staple when it comes to ice cream, and it’s so hard to find in the Valley.
Organ Stop Pizza also hold group outings and fundraisers! For an even better reason to stop in (as if Superman ice cream isn’t enough!), they will be celebrating Christmas in July! The restaurant will be decorated for Christmas and there will be Christmas Music!
Plus, for the month of July, customers who bring in 2 non-perishable food items will receive a 10% discount off their entire food order. The Organ Stop will also be collecting cash donations for United Food Bank and Organ Stop will match the donations up to $5,000.00!
