Discover the World at LEGOLAND Florida

Disclaimer: This is a sponsored post and although we received compimentary admission, it is our own honest opinion.

If you told me that LEGOLAND Florida could be used as a learning tool before visiting, I would have never believed it. From architecture to world travels and landmarks, children (and adults) can enjoy and have fun.

LEGOLAND Florida Resort is located in Winter Park, FL and includes a 150-acre theme park, 5-acre water park, on-site accommodations with LEGO themes, and a world-famous botanical garden, so quite simply, it was built for kids.

Upon entering, we basically just walked right in, with no line. It was a surprise, considering July is said to be one of the busiest month’s for Florida vacations. We were staying just across the street at the LEGOLAND Beach Retreat, which also made things easier.

Once we were in the park, we ventured into the LEGO souvenir shops to look around (oh why did they have to retire the R2D2 LEGO set?!). Next came the fun! My four-year-old loved the carousal, train ride, Coastersaurus, and Ninjago ride the most throughout the park. Plus, through the heat and humidity, it’s always great to see smiles.

As we dredged along, sweating and panting, I quickly realized why it wasn’t very crowded. It may also be because we aren’t used to humidity as much, living in Arizona. However, I am sure the weather is much better in the cooler months!

Next came the part where adults seem to get as excited as the kids (if not more). The architecture! Although my child doesn’t put down a map, I prepared myself to ‘kidsplain’ landmarks, like when we visited the Mayan Ruins in Tulum. From Hollywood to New York City, Las Vegas to Cuba, we ‘visited’ LEGO displays of full cities. We pretended we were in an airplane and named the buildings that we viewesd There were also displays of NASCAR, Kennedy Space Center, Star Wars, and more. I couldn’t imagine how long it took to create each one!

After all of the exploring, we went to the buffet, which had all-you-can-eat pizza, salad, and desserts. It definitely hit the spot! Plus, it was nice to sit down and relax in the air conditioning!

We had an amazing time exploring LEGOLAND Florida and would recommend it to others of all ages. There are rides for everyone, as well as displays for those faint of heart. Whatever you do, enjoy!
